Bad Days

in development

Some days need a witness.

coming to the play store & app store · ios · android

Bad Days is a private diary for the moments you cannot explain to anyone else. No likes, no followers, no streaks, no audience to perform for. Just you, a blank page, and the freedom to be completely honest.

Writing is intentionally simple: open the app and start typing. Each entry can carry a Weight of the Day, describing how it actually felt through quiet emotional states like Quiet, Numb, Hollow, Solitude, Restless, and Heavy, rather than reducing the day to a number. When words are easier spoken than written, entries can hold a private voice recording too.

Instead of rewarding perfect habits or punishing missed days with broken streaks, Bad Days respects that healing is rarely linear. Your entries become an emotional constellation across the calendar, so patterns surface without turning your wellbeing into a game you can lose.

the problem

Why it exists

Most journaling apps turn reflection into performance: streaks to protect, habits to score, an audience to impress. Bad Days removes all of it, so there is somewhere honest to put a hard day without earning anything for it.

features

What it does
