Terms of service

By downloading, installing, or using the WedWisely mobile application, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

WedWisely: The budget and planning app for weddings that don't fit one template. Most wedding apps assume one ceremony and one reception. WedWisely is built for the wedding you're actually having: a Mehndi, a Sangeet, a Nikah, a Haldi, a church ceremony, a tea ceremony, each with its own date, venue, guest list, and budget, all rolled up into one clear picture of what the whole wedding costs.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Where the app offers sign-in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not use another person's account without permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its backend systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use the app to transmit harmful, offensive, or abusive content.

You can use WedWisely without an account in guest mode, with your data stored only on your device. In guest mode, your data is not backed up by us, so if you lose or reset your device without an account, that data is unrecoverable. Collaboration, cloud backup and sync, and AI features require a signed-in account with network connectivity.

WedWisely offers a free tier and an optional WedWisely Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited collaborators and document storage, full analytics, data export, the AI assistant, and premium themes. Subscriptions are purchased through, and billed by, the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their own terms. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed or cancelled through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not within WedWisely directly. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their own policies; we do not process refunds directly.

Inviting others to a wedding shares the data covered by their assigned role, viewer or editor, with them. The wedding owner can revoke a collaborator's access at any time; revoking access stops future visibility but does not retroactively erase what that person may already have seen or exported.

Receipt scanning and the Ask WedWise assistant use AI to extract data and answer questions, and AI output can be wrong. Scanned amounts, dates, and categories, and any answer from the assistant, may contain errors, so always review extracted data before relying on it. Treat assistant answers as a convenience, not professional financial, tax, legal, or wedding-planning advice.

You retain ownership of the content you create in the app. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.

The WedWisely name, logo, design, and all related content are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without prior written consent.

If you enable notifications, you consent to receiving push notifications from the app. You can disable them at any time via your device settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the app or its users. You may delete your account at any time; upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed.

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of any content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these terms from time to time and will note significant changes by updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
