This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Lifinite mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Date of birth, country, and selected life table: Calculating your statistical estimate; stays on device unless you sign in (stored on your device).
• Lifestyle questionnaire answers: Smoking, alcohol, exercise, diet, sleep, social connection, functional fitness, purpose, stress, preventive check-ups, and any diagnosed long-term condition, used only to adjust the statistical estimate (stored on your device).
• Height and weight (optional): Refining the estimate, only if you choose to provide them (stored on your device).
• Your content: Journal entries, moods, gratitude notes, memories, milestones, scenarios, and notes you create (stored on your device).
• Photos: Attached memories stay on your device; only file references sync, so photos never leave it (stored on your device).
• Synced copies (signed-in users only): If you sign in, your data syncs to Firebase Firestore under security rules that make it accessible only to you; guest data is never uploaded (stored in the cloud).
• Anonymous purchase information: Sent to RevenueCat to validate subscriptions and determine premium access; it never receives journals, memories, estimates, or lifestyle answers (stored in the cloud).

We collect nothing beyond what is listed above.

Your information is used only to provide and operate Lifinite and its features, to fix bugs, and to improve performance. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases. Privacy policy ↗

All data transfers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and data is stored with the providers listed above using industry-standard security measures.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, and deletion is permanent and irreversible. See the support page for step-by-step instructions.

Lifinite is not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

• Opt out of notifications at any time via device settings.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time and will note significant changes by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
