Terms of service

By downloading, installing, or using the Curioza mobile application, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Curioza: Turn two spare minutes into something you keep. Curioza turns two spare minutes into a connected walk. Every question links to the last through a real shared idea, drawn from a knowledge graph built from thousands of questions and the links between them. A typical thread crosses five or six subjects in seven questions, and the connection is named on screen as you cross it.

Curioza is designed to be suitable for all ages.

Where the app offers sign-in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not use another person's account without permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its backend systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use the app to transmit harmful, offensive, or abusive content.

Curioza+ is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Apple's In-App Purchase system. The price is shown in your local currency on the purchase screen before you confirm. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends at the price you agreed to. You can manage or cancel at any time in your device's App Store account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies and cannot be issued directly by us.

Because Curioza has no account system, your subscription is tied to the Apple ID used to buy it. Reinstalling the app, or signing into the same Apple ID on a new device and tapping Restore purchases, reactivates your subscription automatically.

Facts and questions in Curioza are curated for accuracy and periodically reviewed, but the app is provided for entertainment and general knowledge purposes and should not be relied on as a sole source of factual or professional information.

You retain ownership of the content you create in the app. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.

The Curioza name, logo, design, and all related content are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without prior written consent.

If you enable notifications, you consent to receiving push notifications from the app. You can disable them at any time via your device settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the app or its users. You may delete your account at any time; upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed.

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of any content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these terms from time to time and will note significant changes by updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
